About Me

Brianna Ascione is a seventeen-year-old dancer, actor, and singer. She was born on May 12, 2000, and currently resides in Randolph, New Jersey. She began dancing when she was just two-years-old, and has had a love for the art ever since. Brianna trains daily in the art of dance at The Dance Academy of North Jersey in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. While there, she studies ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, pointe, and acrobatics. She has won numerous dance awards, such as America’s Teen Dancer of the Year, America’s Senior Dancer of the Year, 24/7 Non-Stop Dancer, and more. In the year of 2014, she was accepted into the Morris County School of Technology in the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts in Denville, New Jersey as a dance major and theatre minor. In the dance academy, she studies modern, ballet, and jazz technique, as well as studies all of dance and movement history. She also learns the art of choreography, and has choreographed and performed a myriad of her own works, including Symphony, Nostalgia, and Halls of Ivy in both Backstage Is Onstage and May Dance Concert. Brianna also attends the Young Performer’s Workshop at Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey for her training in acting. Her love for musical theatre started after she realized her dream was to be on Broadway. She has performed and has been featured in a myriad of shows, including West Side Story (Anybodys), A Chorus Line (Cassie), Big Fish (Jenny Hill), Do Black Patent Shoes Really Reflect Up? (Nancy), and more. Brianna is extremely excited for her bright future ahead of her.
